De leerlingen leren improviseren over een akkoordenschema. Verder bevat deel 3 ritmische uitbouw tot de meest voorkomende en gebruikte combinaties van notenwaarden. Interessante wetenswaardigheden over de bouw van het instrument komen op een speciale bladzijde aan bod.
